Determine the battery capacity AH of your electric vehicle battery, or the output current of the original charger. 1 Look at the original charger to determine the capacity: the original charger's output current is 1.8A, indicating that the battery is 12AH. 2 Look at the battery to judge the voltage: Generally, the batteries in the battery box have a written model, such as 6-DZM-12, 12 means a 12AH battery, 6-DZM-20, 20 means a 20AH battery. 3 Judging according to the mileage of a run on a charge: Generally speaking, a 12AH charger is more suitable for a battery that is about 1 year old and runs 25-40 kilometers at a time. For those running 45-60 kilometers, 20AH is more suitable.
